Despite a sour TV market for mid-major programs the UTSA Roadrunners will continue to offer fans televised broadcasts. KMYS-CW 35 has announced that they will broadcast three of the Roadrunners home games in 2016, the program's first year under the direction of head coach Frank Wilson. This addition gives UTSA seven games currently scheduled for a TV broadcast.

KMYS will be picking up UTSA's games against Alabama State, UTEP, and UNT. While UTSA will be missing out on the financial boost of playing on a national network, the deal does provide a great value for fans. All three games will kick off at 6 pm, giving fans plenty of time to enjoy tailgating and pre-game activities.
We're not sure what to expect on the field for the Roadrunners this year but it should be a strong season for UTSA tailgaters as only one home game on the schedule starts before 6 pm, an 11 am game with Southern Miss on October 8th.
UTSA still has two games without announced start times as the conference and school negotiate TV broadcasting rights. Road games at Old Dominion (9/24) and Texas A&M (11/19) have yet to announce a kick off time.
