Jordan Howard broke the century mark once again for Indiana, Jake Ganus picked off a pass for Georgia, and much more as many former UAB Blazers made their mark on Week 2 of the college football season. Take a look:
Indiana: Howard had another great week for the Hoosiers in their 36-22 win over FIU, as he rushed for 159 yards on 27 carries. This performance comes on the heels of a 145-yard performance against Southern Illinois in his debut with the team.
Georgia: After starting at MIKE linebacker last week, Ganus started at the WILL position in the Bulldogs' 31-14 toppling of Vanderbilt. He recorded a late interception to help seal the deal, and finished with six tackles.
Georgia State: Reigning Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Week Bobby Baker picked up five early tackles in Georgia State's 34-32 win over New Mexico State, but was ejected for targeting midway through the second quarter. Running back Demarcus Kirk played in his first game, going for 49 yards rushing on 12 carries. Wide receiver Nyiakki Height caught five passes for 75 yards. Linebacker Alonzo McGee made six tackles, including a sack. Offensive lineman Kelepi Folau saw his first game action of the season as well.
South Alabama: Wide receiver Josh Magee paced the Jaguars with six catches for 147 yards and a touchdown in their 48-9 loss to Nebraska. QB Cody Clements was productive, but was unable to find the end zone on the day. He was 23-of-40 passing for 270 yards and an interception. Tight end Gerald Everett had three grabs for 39 yards. D.J. Vinson caught a pass and Cameron Blankenship got the start at right guard again. Defensive back Kalen Jackson registered five tackles.
Samford: One person not mentioned last week was defensive lineman Jose Casanova, since he transferred prior to the 2014 season. But he made three tackles for the Bulldogs in their 58-23 victory over Florida A&M. Linebacker Derek Slaughter recorded two tackles and Hayden Naumann started at offensive guard for the second consecutive game.
Western Kentucky: Linebacker T.J. McCollum was second on the team with nine tackles in the Hilltoppers 41-38 win over Louisiana Tech.
Delta State: Wide receiver Darius Powell caught seven passes for 80 yards in the 51-44 win over Texas A&M-Commerce.

Arkansas State: Robert Mondie started at defensive tackle for the Red Wolves and recorded five tackles (two for loss) in their 27-20 loss to Missouri.
Georgia Southern: Roscoe Byrd got his second straight start at right guard in his team's 43-17 win over Western Michigan.
Old Dominion: Defensive back Devon Brown saw his first game action of the season in the Monarchs' 24-10 win against Norfolk State, breaking up a pass.
