Members of the most successful senior class in Cajun history had one more chance on Wednesday to show off their skills inside the Leon Moncla Indoor Practice Facility. Louisiana's annual pro day saw representatives of 31 NFL franchises gather in Lafayette to scout the former Cajuns. Fifteen members of the 2014 New Orleans Bowl Champions participated in pro day.

Those players included former offensive standouts Terrance Broadway, Alonzo Harris, James Butler, Larry Pettis, Terry Johnson, Jared Martin and Daniel Quave. The Cajun defense was represented by Justin Hamilton, Christian Ringo, Marvin Martin, Boris Anyama, Sean Thomas and Corey Trim. Ian Thompson and Brandon McCray, both members of the 2013 senior class also participated in pro day. Both Thompson and McCray spent parts of 2014 on NFL rosters.

The Cajuns competed in all of the standard combine drills including the 225 pounds bench press, 40 yard dash and vertical jump to name a few. Quarterback Terrance Broadway was also able to show off his arm for the scouts. In the weight room, Terry Johnson stole the show with a beastly 34 reps on the bench press. Many of the Cajuns stayed in Lafayette and trained with strength coach Rusty Whitt this winter.

In fact every Cajun participating in today's workout achieved at least 10 reps on the 225 pound bench press as noted by Director of Football Operations Troy Wingerter.

Reports from ESPN 1420 indicate that a majority of the scouts were keeping a keen eye out on defensive linemen Christian Ringo and Justin Hamilton. Unfortunately for Ringo, who holds the Cajuns single season sack record, he appeared to pull up on his last 40 attempt with an apparent hamstring issue. Aggravating his hamstring didn't stop Ringo from finishing the rest of his workout.

With the job interview done, the Cajuns must now wait to see if they hear their name called on draft day. The NFL Draft will be held from April 30-May 2 in Chicago.

As for Mark Hudspeth's 2015 squad, the Cajuns will hold their annual Spring Game this Saturday, March 28 at 5pm. Be sure you check back with Underdog Dynasty for the Spring Game recap and analysis.
