Once all the dust had settled this weekend, we sat around our secret Underdog Dynasty headquarters, looked at each other over our bowls of Urkel-Os , and wondered out loud, "do the people of the internet want Sun Belt teams ranked based on some sort of perceived power?" And like angels from the mountain tops, you answered.
MORE THAN ANYTHING RT @underdogdynasty: Sun Belt power rankings coming on Wednesday. You all want Sun Belt power rankings, right?

So we have delivered.
The Sunbelt had six wins, three loses, and one no contest in the first weekend of the season. They also managed to win one game against an ACC opponent, and nearly a second if not for a late rally by NC State. Here are the official Underdog Dynasty Sun Belt Power Rankings, as voted on by our Sun Belt staff.
1 UL Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns
The Ragin Cajuns were too much for the Southern Jaguars, winning 45-6. They showed they could be the class of the conference, if they get the kinks worked out. Click for a full recap.
The Red Wolves out-gained the Montana State Bobcats by more than 300 yards, but the game was still close until the third quarter when the Arkansas State pulled away, going on to win 37-10.
The Warhawks hosted a Power 5 conference team in Monroe, wore camouflage jerseys, and overcame a 10 point deficit at half to win 17-10. Not a bad Thursday night. Click for a full recap.
4 South Alabama Jaguars
South Alabama fans got the short end of the stick, having to wait an extra week to start their football season. Never the less, expectations are high in Mobile.
It would very difficult for the Bobcats to play a better game. They blew out the Golden Lions and won 65-0. Click for a full recap.
Georgia Southern was 97 seconds away from winning their first game as an FBS school. The Wolfpack came back from being 14 down at half to pulled out the late win 24-23. Click for a full recap.
In a game that did not go as expected, the Trojans were blown out by the Blazers 48-10. Click for a full recap.
The Mountaineers had hoped to prove that the result in the last meeting was no fluke. Unfortunately they didn't bring their "A" game and lost 52-14. Click for a full recap.
This game was delayed due to weather multiple times, before finally being suspended. It is unknown at this time if the Vandals will get to invade the Swamp this season. Click for a full recap or something like that.
This was the first FBS football game of the season, and had one of the best finishes that will happen all year. Georgia State scored 17 points in the fourth, the final three coming with 2 seconds remaining to win 38-37. Click for a full recap.
The Aggies started the season against the Cal Poly Mustangs- a game they won 28-10. They now have won two games in a row dating back to last season. Click for a full recap.
