The Georgia Southern Eagles picked up some great news on a Friday as former UGA offensive lineman Jake Edwards will transfer.

Edwards will unfortunately have to sit out the 2016 season as an FBS to FBS transfer, but will be available in 2017 and should have three years of eligibility remaining. He was a three-star prospect out of Heard County.
Just a few weeks ago the Eagles picked up former Georgia Tech wide receiver Micheal Summers. Summers can play right away as a graduate transfer, but it's clear GS is using all avenues available to bring quality players into the program.
