It's that time of year again, a time where coaches of Power 5 teams are desperately scrambling to poach recruits away from smaller programs in order to fill scholarships before signing day.
But the Georgia Southern Eagles are taking a final stand as well, using the hashtag #LeaveYourLegacy to show incoming players that no matter where you play your college ball, a chance at the NFL is always on the table.

Using recent Eagle alums like Jerick McKinnon and J.J. Wilcox as examples, both GS coaches and fans are out to show both potential signees and guys that have already committed that Southern has made an impact both in the college football world and at the next level.

McKinnon saw a good chunk of playing time during his rookie season with the Vikings before having to take a backseat when one of the best running backs of this generation returned this season. Wilcox has been a starting safety with the Dallas Cowboys since the 2014 season, starting all 16 games at free safety in '14 and starting 13 games at the position this season.

Eagle fans and coaches alike are even hearkening back to the days of Earthwind Moreland, a cornerback who committed to Georgia Southern in 1995 and eventually went on to earn a Super Bowl ring with the New England Patriots in 2004.

Hopefully this final push to keep commits is successful, as the Eagles currently boast the number one batch of recruits in the Sun Belt.
