Underdogs storm the 2016 Walter Camp Award Watch List

Five decades have passed without an Underdog winning a Walter Camp Award. We say "nope" to that!

The Walter Camp Trophy is awarded to the outstanding player of the year who has exemplified the qualities of self-discipline, unselfish team play, desire to excel, mature judgement and respect for leadership. And in the 50 years a "group of National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I-A head coaches and sports information directors" has handed out this award, Underdogs have won it zero times. None. Fifty years, no Walter Camp trophies.
