Saturday, November 21

Florida 20, Florida Atlantic 14 (F/OT): The Owls defense nearly provided enough for a program-defining victory over an SEC power. A touchdown plus the extra point in overtime would have gotten the job done, but alas, FAU fell just short. RECAP

Middle Tennessee 41, North Texas 7: The Mean Green spotted the Blue Raiders 21 points and never bothered making a game of it, as MTSU becomes bowl eligible with the win. RECAP

Western Kentucky 63, Florida International 7: The Hilltoppers pummeled the Golden Panthers into submission, squashing their chances to become bowl eligible. This game was called with five minutes to play due to the weather. If not, WKU may have scored 70. RECAP

Southern Mississippi 56, Old Dominion 31: The Golden Eagles rallied for 42 points in the second half to mount a comeback and pull away from the Monarchs late. USM will play for the C-USA West Division title next weekend. RECAP

Louisiana Tech 17, UTEP 15: A 54-yard strike from Jeff Driskel to Carlos Henderson in the third quarter gave the Bulldogs a 17-10 lead that would hold up. The Miners saw their bowl hopes evaporate with their seventh loss. RECAP

Texas San Antonio 34, Rice 24: Jarveon Williams gashed the Owls defense for 163 yards and two touchdowns as UTSA snapped a three-year losing streak to Rice. RECAP

Kentucky 58, Charlotte 10:The SEC team did what it should against a lowly C-USA team. Kentucky snapped a five-game losing streak with the win. Charlotte's offense struggled mightily, but Andrew Buie gained 76 yards on 23 carries.
