Taking a look at the schedule, there are no changes to each team's eight in-conference opponents due to the four year rotation the AAC instituted at the start of last season. The teams that hosted last season will switch places with their opponent, so that they are now the road team for this year's game.
With the schedule rotation set as is, there is no chance of a regular season meeting between the Houston Cougars and Temple Owls, who met in last year's conference championship game.
The conference increased the amount of Thursday and Friday games this season, with eight total Thursday contests and 10 on Fridays. Last year, the conference also had 10 Friday games, as well as seven on Thursdays. The increase looks like it will be a theme as the AAC are in the third year of their deal with ESPN.
The season will kick off on Sept. 1 with three games. The conference's championship game was announced for Dec. 3, while the Army-Navy game is scheduled for Dec. 10. All start times for the schedule be announced in June according to the conference's website.
