Looking at another diminished slate due to COVID-19.

Well, last week we lost both the Charlotte vs North Carolina game and the Florida Atlantic vs Georgia Southern to COVID-19 problems. The games that we did get though produced a wild week in C-USA, causing me to 4-3 with my picks.

UAB opened things up with a victory over South Alabama on Thursday, but we’ve already had three games get postponed for Charlotte, FAU, and North Texas. Let’s look at what’s in store for us the rest of this week!

UTSA Roadrunners vs Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders

UTSA are doing all the right things to start the season. Frank Harris looks phenomenal as a dual threat quarterback while the Blue Raiders are struggling to hit their stride in a big way. The Roadrunners should will pick up a victory here.

Liberty Flames vs FIU Panthers

Liberty quarterback Malik Willis and the rest of the offense looked fantastic against Western Kentucky last week and we have yet to see FIU take the field this season. If Willis has a similar day, Liberty will pick up the victory.

Southern Miss Golden Eagles vs Tulane Green Wave

Southern Miss should pick up their first victory this week. Neither of these two teams have had a terrible start, but USM look to be playing a much faster paced, higher scoring type of football at the moment, which could pay dividends.

ULM Warhawks vs UTEP Miners

The Warhawks have yet to win a game this year, but they have faced significantly harder competition than the two teams that UTEP beat. UTEP will lose against one of the better defenses they will face outside of conference play this year.

Louisiana Tech Bulldogs vs Houston Baptist Huskies

Tech were able to start things off on the right foot last week against Southern Miss and face a far inferior opponent this week against the Huskies. The Bulldogs will win this kennel battle rather easily.
