Sign up for the new SB Nation FanPulse Top 25

Finally, a poll that promises to make sure G5 teams won’t be left out for a mediocre P5 team.

As many of you know, Underdog Dynasty is considered the voice of Group of Five football in the SB Nation community. The national media tends to overlook the G5 every chance they get, so those who contribute to the site take great pride on being knowledgeable about the AAC, C-USA and Sun Belt, with news and insight into what’s actually going on.

We like to think of our readers as the same: Knowledgeable folk who know the G5 is just as capable and deserving of the attention and accolades that the P5 always hog.

Now, we are starting a new polling project — including a brand new SB Nation NCAA Football Top 25 — that will compile the insights of the most knowledgeable fans in our community.

If that describes you, then SIGN UP HERE to join us on SB Nation FanPulse.

If you sign up, you will be among a vetted group from UDD who answers a weekly survey developed by SB Nation. The survey will start going out regularly once the season begins, and will be highlighted by a weekly Top 25 ranking by this community of fans. The poll will take at the most, a few minutes a week to participate in.

We really want this poll to give G5 teams a fair shot, something the AP and Coaches poll always fails to do as their lack of respect for G5 teams always shows up in the form of only one G5 team making it.

We want to build the definitive Top 25 poll of informed college football fans, and that includes you. Your votes will be anonymous — though if you join, you are welcome (and encouraged!) to tell anyone you like. You’ll get to have your voice heard about why a 2-2 blueblood is overrated and not deserving of being ranked in front of an undefeated Marshall team, an undefeated App State team or an undefeated Army team.

The results of each poll will be published by UDD and may end up on SBNation.com, along with the results from other team sites.

This project was started on SB Nation’s NFL sites last season. Here’s an example of some of the results based on the confidence questions (which you’ll also get to answer!)

We will have more information on this as the college football season draws closer but for now, SIGN UP, JOIN, REPRESENT THE G5!
