Troy only out-gained Texas State by 55 yards of total offense but turnovers just removed any competition from this game.
Texas State’s time-of-possession woes continued again being out gained in that category and also were penalized 8 times.
Next up for Troy (5-5, 3-3 Sun Belt) is a matchup with Louisiana next Saturday and Texas State (3-7, 2-4 Sun Belt) will look to rebound as they visit Boone to take on the No. 25 ranked Appalachian State Mountaineers.
