The Trojans traveled to Mizzou in hopes of capturing their third Power 5 win in as many years. The reality was quite different...

Actually though, the Trojans were first to get on the board as Barker found McClain for a 15 yard score on the opening drive.

The Tigers answered right back with a 2 yard score following a 49 yard downfield strike from Mizzou QB Kelly Bryant.

The Tigers never looked back…

Two straight punts for Sumpter and the Trojans and the Tigers capitalized with two TDs to go up 21-7 near the end of the first quarter.

Barker was then intercepted inside the Troy 30 which set up another TD for Bryant and the Tigers as they held a 28-7 lead midway through the 2nd quarter.

The next INT for Barker was in the form of a pick six as Garrett went 33 yards to the house to give the Tigers a 35-7 lead and the Tigers were still not done.
