Lock (1 point): You pick anyone you want (within the AAC games). Even if it’s a non-conference game, you can pick the opposing team. This is a pick you’re extremely confident in, and likely won’t lose.
Blowout (2 points): This is just AAC teams. You will pick which AAC team will win by the most points. It’ll most likely be a blowout, but even if that team only wins by 10, it counts in this category.
Upset (3 points): We’re counting this as any team that’s not favored. It could be their +1 or +35, doesn’t matter. You’re picking a team that’s not the favorite to win that particular game, not cover the spread.
Use ‘Em and Lose ‘Em (4 points): There are 12 teams in the AAC. You get to pick one team per week, and then you cannot pick them again. So, if you pick UCF, you lose them. Your list of teams to pick from will obviously decrease as the season progresses.
**NOTE: ALL GAMES PICKED ARE AAC GAMES ONLY
FOR OUR FANS/READERS: All of your picks are decided by a vote. The option in each category with the most votes will be your selection each week.
**Any picks left unanswered will result in forefeits
Lock
Mike: I have no choice but to pick the team the plays UConn every week. I need these points! So give me Tulane.
Joe B: If you aren’t picking Tulane this week, I don’t know what to tell you. UConn has no chance. The Green Wave will roll easily.
Joe S: Going to continue with the trend of taking the team that plays UConn every week and that is Tulane this week.
Eric: BYU over South Florida.....oh wait....this is AAC pickem. Let’s go with Tulane over UConn.

Blowout
Mike: Again.... sorry Huskies. Give me Tulane.
Joe B: Tulane has the easiest matchup of any AAC team this week, and the Huskies are in trouble.
Joe S: You might never see another line like this for the Green Wave so I’m sticking with Tulane here as well.
Eric: See answer for previous section. Tulane...by a lot.

Upset
Mike: My head says Temple but something in my gut is telling me to pick Houston. Even with all the issues the, it looks like Holgersen’s offense goes smoother with Tune at quarterback. Not to mention UCF stumbled in the redzone more than I think Houston will. Give me the Coogs.
Joe B: I think Houston has a real shot of beating Cincinnati. If the Bearcats aren’t quite over the win against UCF, the Cougars will jump on them.
Joe S: Don’t call me a homer with this pick. Temple is tough to beat as an underdog, it is homecoming at the Linc and the Owls already have wins over Maryland and Georgia Tech at home. They get another one this week.
Eric: My gut says Temple, but I’m going to take Houston even with all of the internal turmoil. There’s a real emotional letdown that can happen after beating a team like UCF. It could play a factor in this one.

Use ‘Em and Lose ‘Em
Mike: Let me pick someone else to try and shake it up. I’ll take Tulsa here to beat Navy.
Joe B: It’s a trend to pick Tulane, and it’s the most logical decision to make.
Joe S: It’s easy to go with Tulane again here, but I’m going to save them for another time. Give me Tulsa with a win over Navy as the schedule is unforgiving for the Golden Hurricane the rest of the season.
Eric: Easy pick here to go with the Green Wave and I won’t make it complicated. I’ll take Tulane.
