That’s all it took for Memphis RB/WR/KR Tony Pollard to get the ball rolling on his NFL hopes. Senior Bowl Executive Director, Jim Nagy, announced (via Twitter) this morning that they would be adding Pollard to the North roster.
The @seniorbowl is excited to add @MemphisFB junior graduate RB/WR/KR/ST #1 Tony Pollard (@Tp__5) to the North roster. Cool Swiss Army Knife prospect. Tied with NCAA career record with 7 kickoff return TD and was good on both KO and punt cover for Memphis. pic.twitter.com/k5iII6sWEY

Last Friday, Pollard announced that he would declare for the 2019 NFL Draft.
The news came rather unexpected to a lot of people, given that Pollard, a redshirt junior, is going to forfeit his final year of eligibility. From the outside looking in, it seemed as if he was going to be in a much larger role within the Memphis offense, given that RB Darrell Henderson had declared for the draft.
Pollard, tagged as a “swiss army knife”, never specialized at one position while at Memphis. He has been, however, highly-touted as a “playmaker”.
Along with being tied for the all-time mark in kickoff return touchdowns, Pollard has been a credible offensive weapon for Mike Norvell’s staff the past three seasons. The problem lies in Pollard’s usage—what do NFL scouts and executives think his best position might be?
