Week 3 of the college football season saw its share of G5 wins over P5 opponents (USF, BYU and Temple to name a few), while our top team from a week ago took a loss so our Underdog Top 10 was sure to see a major change this week.

The UCF Knights received all but one first-place, and surprisingly, that writer is one of the co-host for our AAC pawdcast.
Even with the 23-point loss on the road to Oklahoma State, the Boise State Broncos still come in at second in the rankings. The one voter who didn’t place UCF at No. 1 had Boise still at the top.
No surprise that UNT shot up four spots from No. 8 to No. 4 in the rankings after dismantling Arkansas this weekend. USF rose three spots from No. 6 to No. 3 after back-to-back wins over Power Five programs.
Hawaii fell from third to out of the top 10 after losing to Army on Saturday. That’s a bit harsh in my eyes considering the Rainbow Warriors played an option team at noon EST which would be 6 a.m. in Hawaii.
The American continues to be out in front with four teams in the rankings. The MWC is right behind with three, Sun Belt with two and Conference USA has one team ranked.
The Mid-American is the only conference not represented in the top 10. Only one MAC team received votes and that was the Buffalo Bulls.
