New Mexico State will be showing off their red home jerseys Thursday in Minnesota because their road jerseys “haven’t arrived yet.”
#Gophers will open season tomorrow at home in white jerseys to accommodate New Mexico State, as the Aggies white road uniforms have not arrived yet.

According to a tweet by the Minnesota Gophers own Twitter page, the home team-typically the team that wear their school’s primary color for-will be wearing white to allow the Aggies a chance to play since theirs hasn’t arrived yet.
Can someone say embarrassing?
I don’t know how this sort of thing happens but they need to figure it out fast because their next game is also away at Utah State. Next time they should use Amazon Prime instead of FedEx Ground.
I also noticed last week that DeShawnte Lloyd’s jersey still had the “Sun Belt” patch on it. Clearly whoever is in charge of the jerseys needs to step it up a bit.
I was hoping the bad news from the opening week would go away but unfortunately not as the Aggies seem to be 0-2 before their second game even starts...
