Underdog Pawdcast: ‘Dogs of the 2018 NFL Draft

Just three Average Joe’s talking about the G5 hopefuls entering the upcoming NFL Draft.

NFL: Combine Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

We are back with a special edition of #JoeTalk, where we have not one, not two, but three Joe’s to break down some of our favorite draft hopefuls. Here are just some of the topics we touched on:

We each took the Wonderlic test and talk about how that correlates to football. (2:15)

We talk Josh Allen, a G5 quarterback who could go with the top pick. (5:35)

Some other quarterbacks we are looking to see where they land include Riley Ferguson of Memphis, Mike White from Western Kentucky and Matt Linehan. (10:30)

It is a weak running back class in terms of G5 talent (13:30), but the receiving group could turn some heads, led by Courtland Sutton and Anthony Miller. Jaleel Scott and Korey Robertson are two other receivers we like in this class. (15:15)

The offensive lineman has prospects that come all over the nation, including the FCS and even Division II. Will Hernandez headlines the group, but Humboldt State’s Alex Cappa is one that has our attention as well. (20:12)

Marcus Davenport, who could be the top G5 talent in this draft, leads an impressive group of defensive lineman. (26:00)

It would not be an episode of #JoeTalk if we did not talk about Shaqem Griffin, his combine performance and how we all agree that he is a good football player. (28:06)

Griffin’s teammate, Mike Hughes, is someone who could have his name called on the first night of the draft. (31:50)

We break down two of the more intriguing quarterbacks in this year’s class: Kyle Allen (36:30) and Quinton Flowers (37:55)

I called Tim Tebow a pretty man and I have no shame in it (40:36)
