Since its inception in 2014, Underdog Dynasty has been one of the leading voices in advocating for Group of Five football.
During this time span, the UDD team has seen some talented contributors come and go. With UDD in the midst of the dreaded offseason, we are seeking to add new contributors before the start of the next college football season.
What we’re looking for:
- Passionate college football fan
- Enjoy following G5 football
- Have the ability to write at least one article on a bi-weekly basis
Sun Belt editor ($$$): The Sun Belt is often the most overlooked conference in college football when it comes to media coverage. We take pride in our coverage of the Sun Belt Conference and wish to strengthen our current relationship with the SBC by adding new Sun Belt editor. Should you have any interest in hosting our Sun Belt podcast, we added compensation will be available. With the inception of our Underdog Pawdcast, each of our hosts receive compensation for their work.
Football analysis via game film: Do you have a coach’s mind and love breaking down X’s and O’s via game film? Awesome! UDD would like to introduce a weekly feature doing just that during the season.
AAC/C-USA contributors: With great, rising programs throughout each conference, UDD would like to make sure we stay on top of the news and provide commentary for its members.
Recruiting: Do you enjoy breaking down highlight reels in search of the next hidden gem to come out of the Group of Five? We're looking for someone to help us cover recruiting across all the conferences that we cover.
Digital media reporter: If you aspire to be a professional journalist and are currently looking to interview players, coaches, and attend postgame press conferences, this position would be of interest to you. Several UDD writers have gone on to use this position as a stepping stone for landing jobs within the media field.
Pitch us: Is there something on the site you feel is missing? Specific topics you’d be interested in writing on a regular basis pertaining to G5/FCS football? We want to hear it.
