Quick Thoughts
- Appalachian once again has the chance to stir things up in week one with a trip to Penn State.
- Appalachian gets Troy at home on the final day of the regular season possibly deciding the Eastern Division.
- Appalachian has a good chance to at least be 4-1 by the time Arkansas State rolls around on October 9th.
- Traveling to UNC Charlotte will almost feel like a home away from home, as many App fans will pack Jerry Richardson Stadium for the first ever contest between the two schools.
- Early November games against Coastal Carolina and Texas State will be key for Appalachian to win to be ready for GSU and Troy.
- App will have a short week to prepare for rival Georgia Southern as the two will play on Thursday once again.
