North Texas just keeps climbing as a football program under coach Seth Littrell.
The Mean Green have the top recruiting in Conference USA after Early Signing Day on Wednesday. 247Sports, ESPN and Rivals all ranked UNT’s signing class as the best in the conference so far.
UNT added 23 recruits Wednesday, including 20 3-star prospects, according to 247Sports, and a graduate transfer from Virginia Tech. The 23 players inked completed UNT’s 2019 class, signing all of its prospects early.
The Mean Green’s 2019 recruiting class’ climb to No. 55 and No. 62 in the nation, according to Rivals and 247Sports, respectively, is a tremendous leap compared to No. 94 and 115 rankings in 2017, Littrell’s first real recruiting class.
“North Texas, our football program, got a lot better today,” Littrell said. “We signed 23 prospects that are not only great football players, but men that fit our culture, and are gonna continue to come in and be great teammates that fit our locker room. There’s no doubt in my mind they’re gonna be a group that is gonna huge reason why we continue having success here, and continuing to build and grow toward winnings championships.”
