P6 Pick’em: The rematch is here

Get ready for another high-scoring thriller

NCAA Football: American Athletic Conference Championship-Memphis at Central Florida Matt Stamey-USA TODAY Sports

A small slate of games still packs a good punch. UCF and Memphis meet for the first time since the thriller in the AAC Championship Game last year. You can bet that Memphis had this game circled ever since the loss, and hopefully were in store for a ton of points. The other three games may not be as anticipated, but there will still be a ton of points produced.

Game of the Week

#10 UCF (-4) at Memphis— Saturday, October 13th 2:30pm CT

Ever since the 2017 AAC Championship Game concluded, fans have been waiting to see how UCF and Memphis would be this season. Many were hoping that the rematch would garner the same hype as last year. So far, UCF has done their job. Memphis has slipped twice already this season and has killed some of the hype in the process. Still, the Tigers have shown enough glimpses into what they are capable of offensively. We want to believe that it will come down to which defense will make a stop, but it will probably be which offenses slips first.

Rest of the AAC

#23 USF (-7.5) at Tulsa— Friday, October 12th 6:00pm CT

Tulsa may be in for a letdown after keeping things close against Houston. USF just put up 58 points against UMass behind Jordan Cronkrite’s 302 yards rushing. The Golden Hurricane have yet to show they can stop or even hang with a high powered offense, so this one could be a blowout quickly.

Temple (-6) at Navy— Saturday, October 13th 2:30pm CT

This might be a game that bettors stay away from, given the nature of both teams. Temple has been playing better as of late, but can they keep that up? Navy beat Memphis, but has struggled running the ball since.

Houston (-16) at ECU— Saturday, October 13th 6:00pm CT

ECU reverted back to its old ways last week against Temple, giving up 49 points. Houston’s offense is light years better than Temple’s, so this could get ugly fast if the Pirates defense plays the same way.
