Week one is in the books and it’s time for week two. We brought in more contributors from the various SB Nation sites covering G5 football and updated our Underdog Top 10 based on last week’s results.

New to Top 10: WKU, Western Michigan, Navy
Tough losses from BYU, App State, and Troy saw those teams drop from the top 10, although each of them are still receiving votes, with Troy just missing the cut by one point. WKU, Western Michigan, and Navy take their places. WKU defeated an FCS school, Navy dominated Florida Atlantic, and Western Michigan gave AP Top 10 USC everything it could handle.
In this week’s top ten, the American and Mountain West continue to dominate. C-USA and the MAC fill out the rest as the Sun Belt and Independents fall out of the rankings.
In week two action, major games include our #4 Houston Cougars in their first game of the year against Arizona, our #2 Boise State Broncos taking on AP #20 Washington State, and our #3 San Diego State Aztecs traveling to Arizona State. Our #8 Western Michigan Broncos will travel to East Lansing to face MSU and our #7 Western Kentucky Hilltoppers will take on Illinois.
