3 | Houston | 1-0 | 49 (1) | American |

8 | Memphis | 1-0 | 22 | American |
9 | Troy | 1-1 | 12 | Sun Belt |
10 | Central Michigan | 2-0 | 8 | MAC |
New to top 10: Troy, Central Michigan
Dropped out: WKU, Western Michigan
This week’s poll sees very little movement in the top half, but some more in the bottom. WKU and Western Michigan drop out after losses to Illinois and Michigan State, respectively. Their spots are taken by Troy (who blew out FCS Alabama State) and Central Michigan (who defeated Kansas). Boise State drops from 2 to 4 after losing in overtime to AP #20 Washington State in triple overtime in last week’s textbook #Pac12AfterDark game.
The American and Mountain West continue to dominate. C-USA drops out as the Sun Belt comes in, and the MAC adds a second team. The independents remain off the board.
Tonight, our #4 Boise State Broncos will host the only game of the day when they play New Mexico in an orange out game. On Friday, our #1 South Florida Bulls, who have been at the top since the preseason, will host Illinois. Then on Saturday, key games include our #8 Memphis Tigers hosting AP #25 UCLA, our #2 San Diego State Aztecs hosting AP #19 Stanford, our #5 Colorado State Rams traveling to AP #1 Alabama, and our #3 Houston Cougars hosting Rice in a renewal of the Bayou Bucket rivalry series.
Special thanks to our voters
