New Mexico State is rolling out some new jerseys for their final season of Sun Belt play.

New Mexico State had their leaders on both sides of the ball, #21 Jaden Wright and #3 Larry Rose III, model the uniforms.

The jerseys, as you can see from the video above, are all black except for a red and white line that comes across the shoulder and down the thigh.

In addition to the lines, there are two pistols on each shoulder crossing each other.

Reaction

I think the jerseys look amazing and are a really nice change of pace from what the Aggies usually wear. It will be interesting to see what kind of helmet they wear with the new jerseys. Hopefully there is a blackout at Aggie Memorial sometime this year!

I haven’t seen much for fan reaction as of writing this article, but I did see one user on Twitter comment that the jerseys weren’t primary school colors and that he preferred the traditional jerseys.

From the video it seems like the players are into the new look and I’m sure they will be excited to play in them this season!
