Back in November, Troy announced plans for a $24 million stadium upgrade that would include a brand new facility in the new north endzone of Veterans Memorial Stadium. In this expansion, Troy will be adding club-level suites, new concessions, a 35x90 foot video board, new locker rooms, weight room, coaches offices, new parking areas and a terrace space. This area will be under construction throughout the 2017 season and should be ready to go by kickoff of 2018.

As you can see in the pictures released on Troy’s official twitter account, things are starting to come together. After a double-digit win season in 2016, expectations are high for this program moving forward under Neal Brown. As Troy attempts to become a traditional contender in the Fun Belt, these renovations will allow them to sell something to recruits to assure them that the real goal for the program is to be playing in the New Year’s Six. With fellow Sun Belt opponents Arkansas State and Georgia State also going through renovations, this will allow the Trojans to keep up with the Joneses. Here you can see in detail what the renovations will look like when they are officially finished.
