And could add a Southern Miss writer too.

With an early signing day being instituted in college football recruiting is becoming even more of a year-long news cycle. In order to keep up with the upcoming sped up news cycle, we’re seeking dedicated recruiting writers at Underdog Dynasty that can help us shine a spotlight on the recruiting efforts of the teams we cover at the G5 level.

We’re also on the search for a dedicated Southern Miss beat writer to help us cover the Golden Eagles throughout the Jay Hopson era.

What are we looking for in a writer?

  • Have the ability to write at least one article for UDD on a bi-weekly basis in the offseason and on a weekly basis during the season.
  • Be an effective communicator and write quickly in a fast-paced digital media environment.
  • Be a self-starter as it pertains to ideas for stories.
  • Enjoy writing and following G5 football and recruiting.

If you are a college student or someone in need of work being published to further your writing career you’ll get plenty of experience as several writers from UDD have gone on to enjoy professional work opportunities at both digital and print publications across the country.

If you’re just someone who wants to write about football on the side and be a voice for a school you are affiliated with, you’re more than welcome as a lot of our staff members simply enjoy the platform UDD gives them to write about their favorite schools.

You'll get plenty of assistance from our editorial staff in growing your voice and providing excellent coverage to your reader base.

We prefer inquiries from experienced writers but most of all we’re seeking driven individuals with a passion for G5 football.

If you are interested in covering G5 football recruiting, or would wish to pitch to us specific topics you'd like to write about on a regular basis pertaining to G5 football, please email smith393@outlook.com. Please send relevant writing examples if you have any when you inquire.
