Will Worth to be Honored

The DC Touchdown Club is holding their fifth annual 3M Awards Dinner on April 13th and Underdog Dynasty has a player being awarded. Navy’s Will Worth will be honored along with NFL Hall of Fame QB Jim Kelly, broadcaster Jimmy Holliday, and JMU Head Coach Mike Houston.

The Middies Will Worth came into the 2016 as a back up to Tago Smith. Once Smith was injured in the first game, Worth came alive rushing for 1,198 yards and 25 TD’s, and passing for 1,397 yards and eight TDs’. Worth’s leadership and stellar play led the Midshipmen to an AAC West Division title.

Worth capped off his senior year with wins against Notre Dame, Houston and Memphis.

Army West Point Hires a WR Coach

The Army WP official site announces that Black Knights Head Coach Jeff Monken has hired David Corley as the Army wide receivers coach. In an off-season that’s included a bit of turnover on defense, Army has a new WR coach as well. Corley spent the past three years at UConn serving as the offensive coordinator and running backs coach. Corley is a well-rounded hire that’s served in player engagement, special teams and has coached WR’s, RB’s and quarterbacks between UConn and William & Mary.
