#2 Navy Midshipmen vs #1 Appalachian State Mountaineers

Previous: Beat #7 UCF 129-72, #11 East Carolina 57-28, #5 Memphis 84-75, and #7 South Dakota State 126-93.

Their Final Four matchup in South Dakota State wasn’t as easy as they thought. The Jackrabbits had a lead going into the final day of voting until the Midshipmen got some wind in their sails to pull ahead for the win. They now meet an opponent who has received tremendous support, and will most likely need a miracle if they want to bring home the championship.

Lamb and the Mountaineers plan to jump ahead early and not look back.

Appalachian State

Previous: Beat #8 South Alabama 488-198, #5 UL-Lafayette 248-82, #7 Louisiana-Monroe 268-27, and #6 Southern Mississippi 1908-193.

If the Mountaineers don’t win, it will be very surprising. The amount of support they have received has been astounding, and the Final Four was no exception. Experts aren’t surprised since the Mountaineers have traveled the path of least resistance to get to the uniform championship. Regardless of difficulty, the Mountaineers are here, and they are looking to jump out to another big lead and not look back.
