General G5 Football
- The Mountain West Conference joined the Sun Belt and the MAC yesterday as they released their 2017 football schedule. Similar to C-USA, MWC has moved their rivalry games out of rivalry week.

- Xavier Woods has always seen himself at the NFL Combine. Now he’s there as one of three La Tech players who will showcase their skills for the next level.
- Mason Fine had an up-and-down 2016 season as a true freshman.
