General G5 Football

• Former Cincinnati quarterback Gino Guidugli will join Luke Fickell’s coaching staff as a running backs coach.

Conference USA

• Marshall strengthened their recruiting pipeline to South Florida by adding Carol City Senior High School Aubrey Hill to their coaching staff. The hires by FAU and FIU definitely forced Doc Holliday to rethink his recruiting strategy and this move seems to be his response for what will be some intense recruiting battles in Florida.
• North Texas gave Seth Littrell a five-year extension. The timing may be a bit hasty but there’s no denying Littrell really improved UNT last year.
• On top of that, UNT has finished adding coaches to their coaching staff.
• An early look at FAU’s tight ends in 2017.
• We also look at FIU’s wide receivers in 2017.
• The Conference USA 2017 Preview series continues with UTEP and Bill does not like the Miners at all this year.

• Athlon’s list of five players who can impress at the NFL combine tabs Tanoh Kpassagnon from Villanova.
