With National Signing Day coming to a close the 2016 college football season is officially over. As we enter the offseason we’re looking to bring new writers onto the site to learn the ropes before the 2017 season kicks off.

Being that our site offers the unique ability to cover teams spanning three different conferences (American Athletic Conference, Conference USA, Sun Belt, Independents and even some FCS!) we would love to add as many contributors to the site as we can.

Writing for Underdog Dynasty provides an excellent opportunity to fine tune your writing skills while reaching a large, passionate reader base, while at the same time working at your own pace. Several of our alumni have gone on to pursue successful professional writing careers at print and digital publications across the nation.

At Underdog Dynasty we are looking for contributors who:

  1. Are able to write professionally and in a clean manner.
  2. Who are punctual, reliable, a great communicator and able to come up with original story ideas.
  3. Have some knowledge about the game of college football and the G5 landscape.
  4. Are comfortable interacting with staffers and site members as well as engaging on social media platforms (primarily Twitter & Facebook).

Responsibilities include a one game preview and recap per week at minimum during the college football season. We understand that the news can be slow during the offseason but each writer is expected to contribute at least one article per week until the season kicks off.

If you feel like you meet this description please contact me at smith393@outlook.com with a writing sample and any relevant work history in the field of communications (experience is great but not required). Please keep in mind that we exclusively cover football.

We look forward to hearing from you and expanding our coverage to bring more exposure to the Underdogs!
