Dropped out: Navy
New to top 10: Florida Atlantic
The top of the rankings remained pretty much in tact. The only significant change is the loss of Navy, who was upset by Temple a week ago. Florida Atlantic takes their place after defeating Marshall.
Even with Navy dropping out, the American maintains their dominance with five teams, to include the top three. The Mountain West keeps two in, while the others have one each now that C-USA is back via FAU.
The #4 Toledo Rockets played last night against Ohio in a huge game for the MAC (spoiler alert, Ohio won). As said before, we’ll let next week’s rankings reflect that. As for other marquee games that haven’t actually happened yet, the #9 SMU Mustangs will taken on the recently ranked Navy Midshipmen in the battle for the Gansz Trophy. Meanwhile, the #4 Boise State Broncos will face the formerly ranked Colorado State Rams.
