Most college football award watch lists are Power Five orgies. NOT THE RAY GUY WATCH LIST! Half of the nominees – 14 out of 28 (if we're counting BYU) – are Group of Five Underdogs. Since the Augusta Sports Council started handing this thing out in 2000, Underdogs have walked away with the trophy three times. That's swell. We want more.
