Tajae Sharpe took a consistent career with the UMass Minutemen and turned it into an NFL career, being selected by the Tennessee Titans with pick #140 of the 2016 NFL Draft.
Sharpe had 1,319 yards of receiving on 111 receptions last year while recording five receiving touchdowns. Sharpe caught a pass in every game he played for the Minutemen and only fumbled once through 277 receptions in his four years with the program.
Tennessee is looking to put more weapons in the hands of quarterback Marcus Mariota. Sharpe's consistency may be one of the best things the Titans can give to their QB coming into his second year.
Congratulations to Tajae Sharpe and the Massachusetts Minutemen for sending another player to the NFL.
