Scout.com Leaves Charlotte off Conference USA Section of Site

The 49ers apparently had such a forgettable season that the recruiting website neglected to add them to their Conference USA section or give them a dedicated page.

Charlotte head coach Brad Lambert had a forgettable year in the 49ers first season in the BCS. It was apparently so forgettable that Scout.com doesn't list Charlotte as a Conference USA team or give them a dedicated football profile.

After a 2-10 season in which their only win against a BCS opponent came versus Georgia State, the Charlotte 49ers had a largely forgettable year after making the leap from FCS play.

Apparently, that season caused Scout.com to neglect that the program existed in Conference USA on the main menu of its site.

The college recruiting site lists 12 of the 13 teams in C-USA , leaving the North Carolina based team off their NCAA drop down menu.

The team does not have a football profile on the site either, and were ranked dead last in recruiting by the site with only six of their recruits listed despite the fact they actually signed 14 players.

One fan even pointed out to the site over Twitter about the absence of the team from Conference USA on Feb. 5, to no reply(The lone like on the tweet comes from Charlotte Football's official Twitter page.)

Charlotte is the lone team missing from the site's interface, with 128 of the 129 teams being represented with their own part of the site. While it guaranteed that it takes time to make changes and that Scout's main focus seems to be P5 teams, the missing team makes the site feel a little incomplete and less credible to fans of G5 programs.

Don't worry about feeling ignored Charlotte. While the folks at Scout Media may neglect your existence, we here at Underdog Dynasty appreciate ALL the members of Conference USA, new or old.
