Ed Oliver, the number sixth player in the nation according to 247 Sports made it official today by signing with the Houston Cougars. Oliver immediately becomes Houston's highest ranked prospect ever.
Oliver is from Houston, Texas, and has been committed to the Cougars for quite sometime but big-time recruits have always verbally committed to G5 schools just to sign with a P5 team on National Signing Day. Not this time.
Houston is beginning to recruit like a P5 team and its scary. The news has sent shockwaves in the recruiting world.
