Arkansas State looks to go over .500 for the first time this season and win its 5th consecutive conference game this year and its 14th conference game in a row dating back to 2014.

  • Doing it with the D— The Red Wolves have given up only 15 points a game in their 4 Sun Belt Conference games this year.
  • The Blaise— Junior Blaise Taylor was named Sun Belt Special Teams POTW after gaining 98 yards on 3 punt returns and a touchdown in last weeks 31-16 victory over Georgia State. Taylor is now 2nd on the Sun Belt list of career punt return yardage. Oh and btw, happened to also block a PAT attempt against the Panthers just to accentuate his performance.
  • Senior Day— 23 seniors will take the field at the Vault one last time on Saturday, closing out a run over 4 years with a 34-18and 3 conference championships out of four years.
  • Aggies Defensive Triplets —Senior LB Rodney Butler leads the nation with 113 tackles on the season and has Dalton Herrington (70 tackles) and Terrill Hanks (63 tackles) next to him. The three combine for 246 tackles total and give the Aggies 3 of the top 84 tacklers in the nation.
  • The Good & Bad—The Aggies are 2nd in total offense in the Sun Belt but last in total defense.
