Troy will not have to play conference foes Louisiana Lafayette or Louisiana Monroe.
Out of the teams that are left for the Trojans the team will have to watch out for South Alabama as a major roadblock in front a Sun Belt championship. The Jaguars have beat Mississippi State and recently number 19 San Diego State. USA is 3-2 and 0-2 in the conference.
Another team of note is Appalachian State. The Mountaineers are 3-2 and 1-0 in conference play. In week one Appalachian State came close to beating Tennessee with a final score of 20-13.
The last team Troy should be more than prepared for is Georgia Southern. The Eagles are 3-2 and 2-1 in the conference. The conference loss came last night via the Red Wolves of Arkansas State who are 1-4 and 1-0 in the Sun Belt.
Troy will host Georgia State at 2:30 pm next Saturday following the bye week. The Panthers currently sit at 0-4 and will face the Texas State Bobcats tomorrow.
