For the better part of a decade, the Arkansas State Red Wolves have enjoyed far-better-than-average play at the quarterback position. That security looks to continue with the Red Wolves' latest commit, Butler Community College transfer Justice Hansen.

Hansen was recruited as a 4-star, pro-style QB by Oklahoma. Upon red-shirting his freshman year, he transferred to Butler CC after a position battle with Baker Mayfield and Trevor Knight. Hansen's high school offer sheet included Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Missouri, Auburn, Arizona State and Arkansas.
With three years of eligibility, Hansen joins a Red Wolves team fairly deep with quarterbacks, a squad that includes departing senior Fredi Knighten's understudy, James Tabary. But you can never have enough pitching, as indicated by the enthusiasm of the A-State coaching staff Wednesday evening.

Spring practice for A-State begins March 9th. The quarterback battle should be interesting to say the least.
