Is Duke The Strongest Opponent Tulane Will Face in 2015?

For kicks and giggles, I ranked the Green Wave's opponents based on their games thus far.

Mark Dolejs-USA TODAY Sports

It's tough to make heads or tails of the schedule Tulane has in front of itself during the 2015 season. Through three or four games of that slate, we slowly got an idea of how good the Green Wave's opponents are. Take a look and see where I ranked them from No. 1 to No. 12.

Rank
Team
Record
Analysis
1
Duke
3-1
The Blue Devils made it look easy against Georgia Tech this past weekend.
2
Houston
3-0
With the schedule they have, the Cougars should be undefeated through Halloween.
3
Georgia Tech
2-2
Don't count out the Yellow Jackets just yet. Schedule hasn't been friendly to them.
4
Navy
3-0
If Keenan Reynolds stays healthy, the Midshipmen will make some noise.
5
Memphis
4-0
As long as the Tigers' offense keeps clicking, they don't need a defense.
6
Temple
3-0
We'll get a good idea if the Owls are for real on Halloween (vs. Notre Dame).
7
Tulsa
2-1
This weekend's game against Houston will be a big one for the Golden Hurricane.
8
UConn
2-2
I fear what will happen to the Huskies when they face a ticked-off BYU on Friday.
9
SMU
1-3
The loss to James Madison was bad, but there is some promise in Pony Up Land.
10
Army
1-3
Congrats on beating Eastern Michigan. What can you do against Penn State?
11
UCF
0-4
Blah. Blah. Blah. Bad football team words go here.
12
Maine
1-2
It's Maine.
