Well now it has finally happened. Edmond Robinson, the second of the two Division II players invited to the NFL Combine, has come off the draft board to the Minnesota Vikings as the Vikes use their final selection of the 2015 draft on the second level of their defense. Oh, here's another interesting tidbit:
This is pick the 49ers traded to Dolphins for Jonathan Martin. Miami traded it to the Vikings, who select OLB Edmond Robinson (Newberry).

So he will forever, in a very loose and transitive way, be tied to Richie Incognito. Robinson arrived here in part due to lighting it up at the combine, but he is a very raw prospect. He wasn't able to even consistently dominate DII competition, and that's in large part due to failings in technique.
Granted, it's a whole lot easier to teach technique than size, speed, or internal drive. But he'll need work on all those things in order to get himself beyond special teams.
