We have selected DL Deon Simon! pic.twitter.com/DZMqR9xXHh

The Jets looked to the FCS ranks to find a nose tackle, taking Northwestern State product Deon Simon with the sixth pick in the final round of the draft.
A lot of the FCS prospects in the final round are guys with big measurables and size, and Simon certainly qualifies. He's a 6'4", 321 lb. tackle who's adept at stuffing the run. He's not the most mobile of players, but the Jets aren't looking for a pass rusher with this pick; they want a guy who can take up space in the middle. If Simon can get a little better at shedding blockers, he can definitely compete for a roster spot.
