After a morning rush things have slowed down for the moment as the Georgia Southern recruiting class of 2015 takes shape.
For a rundown of the 22 players already on board, I'll direct you to Willie Fritz's Twitter account and the school's official recruiting page.
All of the 22 signatures came in before 10 a.m., but there's been no activity since and it's now after noon.
The target number for the class has always been 26. So who's going to get those last four spots? One of the big question marks right now is Dexter Carter Jr., who committed to Georgia Southern on Jan. 25 but has yet to make anything official. His long list of offers includes UNC, Auburn and Louisville. (EDIT: Received word Carter will be signing elsewhere. Wump wump.)
Southern lost three commitments in the final days before NSD: Alex Davis flipped to Nebraska, Georgia lured away Tae Crowder and Montre Hartage committed to Northwestern. No fear though, the class as-is ranks near the top of the Sun Belt and can only get better as more names join the list. Also, the Eagles flipped a player named Obe Fortune from App State, so that should keep you warm for a while.
I'll refrain from writing out a wish-list, especially as more players commit by the minute. Check back later and Hail Southern.
