North Texas announced former North Carolina assistant head coach for offense, Seth Littrell, as their new head coach yesterday. As usual, people took to Twitter to express their opinions on the new head of Mean Green football. It was...interesting.
An overwhelming amount of fans were excited about the hire.
Welcome to Denton, @SethLittrell! Excited to see what's in store for the Mean Green going forward. #MFG

Littrell's offense expertise will be welcomed with open arms by a struggling North Texas program.
Stoked about @MeanGreenFB hiring #SethLittrell. Only way is up. Looking forward to see what he will do with the program. #GoMeanGreen

Tar Heel fans, however, did not join in the celebration.
I hate losing Seth Littrell

One thing was almost immediately agreed upon.

#UNT's new football coach, Seth Littrell, looks like Coach Taylor, right? #FNL https://t.co/ygRjMBPCrx via @usatoday

Seth Littrell looks a lot like coach Eric Taylor from Friday Night Lights.
Could the man behind North Carolina's high powered offense also be the former head coach of the Dillon Panthers? Regardless, the decision to hire Littrell is almost immediately getting the attention of North Texas fans that despertaely needed encouragement.
Clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose.
