On a gutsy call from the 1 yard line on 4th and goal with 1:56 to go and Navy only up by 5, Keenan Reynolds got behind center and did what he has done 76 other times in his career.
After punching it in from one yard out to end up with 117 yards and two touchdowns on the day, Reynolds officially cemented his place in Navy lore as he tied Montee Ball of Wisconsin with 77 career rushing touchdowns and gave Navy a 29-17 victory.
The Mids are now 6-1 and 4-0 in the AAC with a monumental game coming up next week against Memphis. The stage is set for Reynolds to break the rushing TD record and stand alone while trying to lead Navy to an upset victory against a top 25 conference opponent.
More to follow after the post-game press conference!
