College Football Playoff Committee: Marshall, We Have A Ranking

After weeks and weeks of scratching and clawing, the Marshall Thundering herd are finally, gloriously, and just barely ranked in the CFP standings.

There you have it, boys and girls. The Marshall Thundering Herd are finally ranked. You will notice, however, that they are not the highest ranked Group of Five team, as they are just a shade behind Boise State.

That being said, this is a start. Now that they are ranked, as long as they do not lose to Western Kentucky or Rice/La Tech, they will continue to be ranked and maybe even climb a little bit due to other teams losing. However, given this current setup, it would appear a strong possibility that they wind up ranked behind whichever of Boise State or Colorado State wins the Mountain West title (assuming one of them does).

This isn't perfect, but it's a start...
